Part 7

Shot of dual intake manifold I made, had pics of milling, welding etc, but lost them when I rebuilt the computer and forgot to back them up! I cut it in half rather than welding in the second manifold pipe as I've seen a few daggy ones done that way. Photos below of left over half piece so you can look inside. I inserted a diffuser plate inside at approximately 30 deg that splits the front and rear so the turbo's don't blow through the throttle bodies at each other. Hope it works!

Long term I'll look at making a new manifold as the bottom has proved to be the restriction in testing by Lextreme members - releasing lots of easy hp with less heat and turbo boost.

Starting to get back into the car - more shots of chassis kit welded in.

Pic 1 - This is the front of the chassis which ties into the light grey piece below in Pic 3 that links the front subrame to the power train (the darker grey is the front sub frame). Pic 2 shows the rear of the chassis rail.

Re-did the LH exhaust manifold (rough welded, still to finish and grind) as I have been able to fit the aircon pump in by cutting a little into the chassis rail. I re-boxed it, but as it's forward of the crossmember, strength shouldn't be a problem.
